Bench Fee, Diagnostics & Repair Policy

A non‑refundable $50 bench fee + tax is due at drop‑off and covers diagnostics and a written repair estimate.

No repairs beyond diagnostics will be performed without customer approval.

Labor is billed at $50/hour and parts purchased by Frank & Stein Electronics LLC are due at pickup.

Parts purchased by Frank & Stein Electronics LLC are tested prior to installation; customer‑supplied parts are accepted at the customer’s risk and are not warrantied.

Per Cable

$12.50+tax

We test your cable(s) with dual diagnostics using a Fluke 117 True RMS Multimeter and a CT-20 Cable Tester.

Additional Services

Tube Testing

Standard tube testing: $3 per tube using the Mighty Mite II Tube Tester

Test results include data for the following tests: emissions, GM/transconductance, gas and heater to cathode leakage
Testing does not guarantee the tube(s) will support load

Speaker Installation (Amp)

$35 per speaker

Speaker(s) will be provided by customer at time of equipment drop off

We Build Kits

We will build your analog effect pedal and tube amplifier kit.

Payment Policy

Upon completion, you will receive an invoice via email and full payment is due prior to the release of your equipment. Equipment must be picked up within 2 weeks of email notification. Any equipment left more than 2 weeks after email notification is subject to a non-negotiable storage fee of $5/day. Any equipment left beyond 30 days after email notification becomes the property of Frank & Stein Electronics LLC.
